I cannot say enough positive things about Dave and the Powers Group! We have worked with them as buyers on two transactions in the last 3 years after looking at many properties with them over several years. Dave lead us through both transactions with great knowledge, professionalism, and calm, while also being highly attentive to our needs and keeping us on track in the face of short time frames and high competition/ interest in each property. Despite the speed of the transactions, the firm was also extremely cautious, making certain we were aware of all potential risks and complexities. I mention the many showings we looked at with the Powers Group over many years, because I think it illustrates the patience and client first focus of the firm. Their patience was illustrated by them continuing to show up with smiles on their faces to show us more and more properties, despite us not pulling the trigger for many years. Dave, Laura, and Megan are focused on building long term relationships, delivering great outcomes to clients, and importantly protecting those clients from making financial mistakes.

It had been 18 years since we bought or sold a home and a lot has changed. The Powers Group were there to help us from the very beginning. They did a fantastic job with both selling our house and finding our new home. Their service started well before listing by helping us with staging and other prep work to make sure our house looked perfect. They were able to get us multiple offers above asking the first weekend our house was listed. David walked us through the offers to help us negotiate for the best price. When purchasing they had great advice about details we hadn't thought of. Once again David worked hard to get us the lowest purchase possible. I mention David but Laura and Megan were both integral to the sale and purchase. I am not sure if it will take another 18 years before we sell and buy a house but I definitely will use The Powers Group.

We purchased our new home in Bexley during the summer of 2022, which was very challenging for buyers. On top of that, we were moving from Richmond, Virginia and could only visit the Columbus area on limited weekends. David met with us virtually a few times before we begin our official house search. It was obvious to us that he wanted to know as much about what we were looking for as possible. As we began to look at homes, David was always extremely responsive by phone, text, or email. He seemed to provide very genuine advice about different areas of town, and never pressured us to make a hasty decision. We had to put in multiple offers, and he helped us navigate that process so that we were successful in finding our home within the timeline we desired. Even after we moved into our house, David was very helpful in recommending professionals to assist with projects we needed to complete. It means a lot to us that he continues to share his expertise and knowledge even after the sale!We also had the pleasure of meeting Megan during some of our house visits. Like David, she was very knowledgeable and helpful.We moved to Columbus because my husband took a job at OSU. All of his colleagues recommended the Powers Group and we wholeheartedly second their recommendation without hesitation!

David, Laura, and Megan (and really the entire Street Sotheby's team) were so amazing during my husband and my home buying process and we truly cannot recommend them more! They are so wise and were giving such great advice and you can truly tell they want you to find they right home for you, not to just make a sale. This was a really tough market for us a buyers and they never once gave up on us and I truly felt as if they were fighting for us. I trust David and the team completely with everything and will absolutely use them again in the future should we ever need to move!
